Rear end oil capacity

Owners manual for the oil capacity is confusing. Listing various amounts for auto trans. How do I find out which one is for my truck?

Are you asking about the rear differential, or the transmission? Thats what confusing.

Differential (AKA rear end)

Most 4wd tacoma gen3 trims take at least 4 qts for the rear differential, some slightly more. The front differential takes between 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 qts.
I think there's video's that show those differential gear oil changes.

I think the sr and sr5 take the same amounts...4 qts.
