Soft Topper?

I was thinking more in line with a soft shell vs a tonneau cover vs hard shell.
I figure it would be like the room of a hard shell with the ability of a tonneau cover, fold out of the way when needed.

I’ve had the soft shell covers. The OEM cover on my 17 Tacoma is the first hard cover I’ve had.
Pros of the soft cover are being able to move it out of the way easier when hauling, and they’re usually cheaper.
Cons are they aren’t as secure and wear out faster. The snap covers are terrible IMO. The hook and pile covers are better.
Myself, I love the hard cover a lot more.

Id get a folding hard tonneau cover. They fold back quick and easy to allow full access to the bed, they protect the back window when folded up allowing for taller loads, they are secure when closed and tailgate is locked and they are quiet.
