Then and Now

After driving my truck over 6 years, I thought it was time for a change. I did change the grill, wheels and tires a couple weeks after buying it, I really liked and still like the Sport wheels from 2018.

Did a mild 2" Bilstein 6112, and 5100 lift. Went one size up in tires to 265-70-17, and swapped out the Predator steps to Greenlane aluminum sliders. I seriously doubt anyone would notice the lift, except maybe someone that has a Tacoma.

Top pictures are from the day I brought it home November 1st 2018. It had 57 miles on it. Bottom was took last week at 62K miles.

Looks similar my 2020 access cab except being a bone stock sr5...and not Taliban tan. I like those sr5 wheels in the very top pic better than the darker ones that came on my truck
I had ordered my taco with the predator steps also, but removed them after one winter nearly breaking my neck on them after an ice storm. Their not really great to have living in New England.

Did my usual grocery shopping this morning, and got a surprise to see an FJ cruiser parked next to my tacoma when I came out of the store. A nice mint blue one at that. Hadn't seen an FJ in a couple years on the roads anywhere. It's like they just vanished....use to see lots of them a decade, or two ago.
