Tire nut key

Hey guys. Took a nail to a tire outside of town. Stopped in a small town used tire shop. Asked them to look at the tire and they asked me for a tire nut key. I bought used and this is my first Tacoma. Should there be one on the truck? Where can I get one?

Yeah if there's locking lug nut on the wheels, there should be a 'key' for it (if the previous owner left it in the truck for you). Most tire shops have a master key that should work if dont have it.

Usually people leave them in the glove box. I’ve found them with the jack, under the seat, behind the seat, rolling around in the cab, in the center console.
