Hey Everyone the dreaded CEL and Trac combo popped on the dash about 2 days ago after a fill-up. Truck runs fine and I’m thinking it’s the gas cap based on my experiences in the past w other Toyota’s. I may not have given enough of a turn. Anyone else agree or should I look into other issues?

Anyone experienced a hard drop to first gear when at a stop? I’ve noticed that after coming to a stop, especially w/ AC on, after a few seconds there’s a hard thunk. My 4Runner did this and it was a flaw in the code for the tranny. I’m assuming it’s the same here. Thanks Everybody

The truck is a TRD stock. PSI is 35. It was ranked up to almost 40 which seems too high. The specs call for 32. There’s a bolted on truck box, which I’m seriously thinking of taking out. That’s it though.

I used our Dyson with its HEPA filter and vacuumed it completely then put a K&N filter in. Have the car bomb too, but holding off until I have time to really do that. Vacuuming and the filter made a big difference already. I even vacuumed the ceilings [emoji23]. It’ll probably never be all gone...

I’ll have to check cold PSI. I like to run my tires around 34/35.

Should I go up or down on PSI?

I just got the truck. But I think they’ve been rotated. Pressure should be good. Maybe I’m just not used to them...

Any suggestions for getting the smoke out of a former smokers truck? Or is it just a waiting game?
