Mine went out and I still haven't got my truck back 5 days now. They said they have to get new cats, but I'm still waiting. Dealer said mine was there 4th one.
Well I have 5700 miles on my trd off rd double cab and the last 500 miles the truck transmission has really changed. I'm not one of those guys who thinks its real or when u ask what kinda mpg I am getting and say "I can go all week on a tank of gas" what a dumb answer. I live in western nc and...
Does anybody know what this is or does. This pic is from the front of a trd off road. Not weilded, looks like it held there by that bolt. It is on both sides. Kinda looks silly

I was on one of my wood yard sites that has a 60ton scale so I decided to weigh my taco with me in it. Now I weigh about 185 and I have: a bed mat, a steel box for gear in bed with 150+ lbs of gear in it, and a Yakima Bed Rock rack system and 2 viper bike holders. Fuel was about about 1/4...
I think I will trade it in 2017 for a manual if it keeps bothering me. I drove my tundra today after not driving it for a month, man I miss that torque sucking u into the seats, lol
This is true but if I haven't had major issues, my opinion is based on my factual experience. I don't like the tranny in my taco, it isn't broke, I just don't like it. Besides that, it feels rock solid.
I will have to agree and disagree. I agree a tranny with more gears will shift more, but the tacos are still to much. My wife had a 8 speed grand Cherokee and it will go back and forth between 8 and 7 but it is alot smoother, alot less shifts, and u wouldn't know it unless u watched rims or...
