A tip for you. Don't use an open drain pan. There are many variants of drain pans that will capture the oil in a jug for easy recycling. Drain into the "pan", install the caps, haul to the recycler. Very little muss, very little fuss and no clumsy transfers into jugs risking more spill.

Just took on a load of fuel. $48.36 for 17.09 gallons for 330.8 miles......pushing 19.4 mpg. Burning E15. 4.0L V-6, AT, 4WD, plus stiff KS wind. Mostly headwind anywhere from 30-50 mph. Enough to peel the hide off a Rhino.

Agreed. Fuel pressure regulators seldom fail. If you haven't, suggest you pull the 100K maintenance. Its mostly fluids and plug change.

Its not the fact you have health issues. Its the whining about it that is irritating. If you can't do the work, then you need to hire the work done. Then refrain from being a backseat mechanic.

Suggest taking a look at NAPA for the filter. Keep shopping. Agreed RockAuto's shipping is stiff.
