I have a 2016 Tacoma SR5 4x4. I would have to agree with the magazine. I've owned 4 Toyota's and this is the sorriest one ever. Sluggish no power,transmission want shift right. Brakes vibriate and worn out at 35,000 miles. I guess thats why there has been 4 recalls on this truck and 108 TSB's...

Took my 2016 in for blowing black smoke and soot up on the paint. Toyota checked it out, could not figure out why it was doing it. They seen the results of it. But their diagnostics was everything checks out okay. Gave me the is what it is business

Took my truck in Toyota wasn't any help didn't know why it was blowing soot and black smoke.

I have tried that. My gas mileage is way down. Barely getting 20mpgs. When I bought this truck it was getting 23.4. And I buy name brand gas Exxon Shell etc. I have an appointment with Toyota Saturday to see why it's blowing soot and black smoke.
