Pre purchase question

Looking to get a Tacoma. But heard rumors that the 2022 engine was having issues. Not sure which engine. Was just a rumor..

Any one heard or know of issues for 2023 Tacoma ? I always purchase new and drive until the wheels fall off.

Only the usual stuff that after covid the overall quality hasn't been what it once was. That seems to be true for all manufactures. I feel I was lucky seeing the first signs of this pandemic happening making a final decision to buy a 2020 tacoma, which has been excellent.

I think he full of chit sometimes.
All of us can be full of chit from one time or another Joel.:D In this particular video I think he pretty much nails it though. He keeps saying old school a million times but honestly, that is what I was looking for and what I like about the Tacoma

So you think he actually does not give a chit about customers property and does not adhere to the zero f!cks policy that these in this profession should absolutely adhere to
None of that....I've seen some of his videos where he way over does it for maintenance of toyota vehicles. Maybe it may pertain to certain ones, but not all.

The current toyota trucks are old school. I hope they stay that way, and not let all this nanny bs infiltrate them causing them weird issues. Anything that uses bluetooth can get corrupted creating really weird stuff.

A friend of mind also purchased a 2022 model and he is happy with the selection. He however purchased a TRD PRO configuration, which is of course pricier than regular model. He took a small loan but eventually he gets what he wants. Maybe that's something you may also consider? My wife has been using Maggie Title Loans and she is happy with the interest % an customer service as well. Seems like a good deal in this case.

As a rule, it's usually the higher end trims that develop all the weird gremlins. Consider your friend to be lucky if he never has some odd issue.
