4th Gen Tacoma

Only you can decide yourself by taking a test drive with one. When I was at the dealer here with my brother that had his rave4 in for an oil change. I was checking out all the new taco's when one of the salesmen asked me if I was interested in taking a short test drive. I think thats what dealers are trying to do right now to encourage sales. They're really not as bad as some say. You can bet toyota will iron out any flaws, or gremlins the following years once more owners have them.
I think it's got more to do with the gen1 guys ragging on the gen2 as their generation was best, and so on. There will always those that don't like change. The real test is how these new trucks standup years down the road.

I understand that there aren't too many 4th-gen Tacoma owners on this forum who care to discuss the particulars of these new models.
That said, is there enough interest to start a thread solely to discuss modifications, improvements, and characteristics relative only to the 2024+ Tacoma's? View attachment 47299
Nice color

Just came back from a local toyota dealer after taking a test drive in a new gen4 taco. They're a nice riding truck, with slightly more low end than my current gen3 puts out. Overall, auto transmission shifting felt similar just a couple more gears. The led screen is humungous, first thing I noticed sitting in the cab, plus the seating was better in this truck vs the gen3. Other than that I'm not giving up my gen3 for one anytime soon.
Love my.....
