The trannies really have issues on these 2016's... mine has been in twice and I still have surges and what feels like a slipping jolt

16 TRD DBL inferno

I'm wanting to get some bigger and a little wider wheels and tires on my taco.. right now I have 265/70R/16s... and so far I'm not off-roading.. suggestions?

Agreed... I'm thankful at this point that I purchased the 100,000 mile warranty that covers head to toe..

So I forgot to tell you I was having issues back in November too... they replaced my brake shoes and rotors, and updated the transmission software... you might have them check your rotors too.. I just got it back today for the 5000 mile service and it was a quart low on transmission fluid...

I'm taking it to the dealer on Thursday morning.. I'll let you know the outcome.
