People with OR hoods will pay you a couple hundred to swap hoods. For some reason more people like a fake scoop than being able to see where you are going.
You don’t have to remove the bumper, but you do have to loosen it up to get access to the mounting screws. I’ve got them for my truck but haven’t installed them yet.
Don’t know what part of the country you are in, but here in Oregon used Tacos list for what I paid for mine new ($35,000). Go on sites like autotrader and carmax to see what the prices are in your area.
I used the steering wheel controls before I got these because the OEM knobs were so small, now I use the knobs and rarely use the steering wheel controls.
Don't forget that you are the victim of her negligence. If you are facing a financial loss and her insurance company is not responding, lawyer up and get compensated to the level you deserve.

I have the same one in my Taco. I put the sticker on the cover that comes with the filter and when I had my 10k service the guys says that my cabin filter was dirty and needed replaced. I laughed at him and told him that his tech never checked because I had just put in the K&N!
