Anyone have problems with these nerf bars in areas with bad winters and road salt? My stainless steel ones (mfg. other than tyger) are starting to rust after one year.

Yes... You drain the filter housing before element remove. This keeps a few oz. of used engine oil out of the land fill.

They applied that CRC coating to the frame of my 2002 Tundra. What a mess... nasty looking stuff and they took the bed off to do this job.

I live in NE Pennsylvania (Pocono Mts.) and we do get some nasty snow and ice storms. Not as bad or as cold as Ontario.

As long as the oil meets the specs for the van's engine... you should not have a problem.

Much better quality steel ends and o-ring gaskets. Seem to work well in my engine.

Well.. Stopped in at my local dealer and they told me just to keep it in the glove box with the owner's manual. This paperwork indicated that will extend the corrosion warranty on the frame.
