    Paint peeling off 2017 Tacoma

Yea. It should be 5-7 mils thick. The bubbling also could be where the body shop rushed the job, and didn't let the primer or sealant cure before putting color down. Solvent gas has to go somewhere. Either way, it should be under warranty from the shop, depending on how long been.

    Paint peeling off 2017 Tacoma

If it bubbled up before and after they repaired it, I'd bet it was a chemical reaction from the E-primer and sealer.

    Paint peeling off 2017 Tacoma

White is always notorious for peeling. From my experience, white paints tend to be thinner than other colors. And its peeling there by the doors because the paint is thinner on all surfaces that arent parallel to the overall body lines. The paint guns dont adjust to the angles and edges...

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Hmmm. Seems counterintuitive to make a 2wd vehicle in the "Off Road" model. Lol

Guess it's a good thing I regeared mine. Those 4.88s are running great, btw. Best investment so far.

    CB Radio

Plus, Each connection will lose about 2-3 db (decibels) of path loss. Then you have your cable length. If I remember correctly, it's about 2 db path loss for every 10 feet of cable. Then you have other electronic interferences from your car radio, ECM, inverters, etc. That stuff adds up. Lol

    CB Radio

Given the frequency range, you're probably gonna have to use at least a 2 footer to get any distance. Still has to be LOS, and anything more than an inch thick will degrade signal (buildings, fences, trees, etc.). Realistically, even with a 2 footer, expect about 1.5 miles at best. Weather will...

    Lift

You shouldn't need to change anything with a 3" or less lift. Maybe do an alignment after. 3" or smaller is usually just a bolt on.

I want to add Tacoma emblem

Dont buy the OVERLAYs. They are cheap, Thin plastic that will crack. You're better off just painting the ones you have.

    2020 Tacoma owner.

With the shifting and crazy cruise control, it's because the gearing is not right. Very common thing. If you regear it to 4.88 or 5.29, you'll love it. Stock gears are just not right. I did it to mine. And it was an amazing difference.

    Lift

As long as they're good parts, you're paying for a name. Not a whole lot of difference between brands.
