Easy solution - turn the truck off before opening the driver's door. It only dings if door is opened while truck is running.

Minor inclines always cause my auto to downshift. And i know 6th gear would pull that small incline fine if manual tranny.

Not terrible, but when on long trips, doing 75-80mph on an interstate, it would be great to put it in 6th and know it wont downshift unless i shift it myself.(a manual wud give me that). Mine shifts between 5 and 6 wayyyyy too much in my opinion in the same situation.

I like the auto with crawl and terrain select, buttttt I mostly drive on paved roads and at hwy speeds this damn 6spdauto is shift happy to say the least. (Tsb done too). I wish id have bought the 6spd manual. Street queen? And if you like shifting, go manual. If offroad is your gig, go auto...

Am i to believe dealer will install this aftermarket bushing under warranty? Or are you paying dealership rates for labor to install it? I was told dealer will only replace the bearing with toyota bearing, which isnt a real fix.

Does this fall under the "if its on the internet it must be true" pile? Not buyin it.

I want to do a lift kit, but sooo glad i didnt with my 2016 Trd OR. Most people have this bearing noise after lifting their trucks. And know some people have removed their lifts because of this problem. Id go nuts listening to a needle bearing hum so will avoid that trap for now.

If i had put 33inch tires on, yea. Fix with electronic gadget. But im not concerned with 3mph at 75. At 40 its 1mph off. Meh. Ha

Funny how 4wheel parts leaves out wheel width requirements for that tire size. But i know its 7.5inch. I went through this drill already. Lol

I have that exact wheel. You cant get a 265/65R17 mounted on a 17x7 wheel as its only 7 inches wide and that size tire requires 7.5inch. Butttttt. You can put 265/70R17 on a 7 inch wide wheel. And your wheel diameter will be 1 inch more than stock. Small speedometer issue with 2-3mph diff at...
