So cj2016, are you saying the 2016 doesnt have the same needle bearing? I was under the impression that 2016s do have same needle bearing that many owners have issues with. Im not ready to deal with warranty issues on a truck thats 2 months old. Lol

I wanted leveling kit for my 2016 4x4 but friend bought 2015 and after leveling kit hes now dealing with needle bearing issue/noise. ESCG sells clamshell to solve needle bearing problem but dealer wont install it. They say it voids warranty if ESCG is installed. Sooooo. No lift or level for me.

Anybody have a scan tool? I have 2 but neither work on my new Tacoma.

I am one of the cruise control crazy shifting group. Downshifts to 4th on an incline and stays in 4th unless i turn off cruise. Also shifts between 5 and 6 relentlessly. But after 2400 miles on my 2016 TRD OFFROAD 4X4, its shifting much better than when i drove it away with 200 miles on it...

Thank you Ray. It messes with my symmetrically aligned brain. If i cant install 1 on each side its not symmetrical so ill do without. Hahaha

No noise in my 2016 TRD OFFROAD. Wd40 the hinges and the lock mechanism. Maybe that'll help.

Not steps for side of truck. I mean bed step. Single swing down step for access to the bed.

Does anyone know if the bed steps can be mounted on either side? Or only on drivers side? Every video I've found only shows drivers side install

Just swapped out license plate lights, front and back interior overhead lights with LEDS. SOOO much brighter! Cheap mod but great benefits.

I bought a keychain remote and stuck it to the overhead light/crawl control location with 2 small peices of double sided tape. Less than 30 bucks. Done

Day 1 after tranny fluid topoff. No lurching this morning. Shifts are smoother too. My dealer is also aware of shift happy complaints and cruise control issues where truck shifts into 4th and wont shift to 5th with cruise on. No updates available "yet" but he's aware and reporting it to...

Have lurching issue too. At dealer now, 1 qrt low on tranny fluid! Ill report back next week if added fluid helped my issue.

Yes. Had this happen after a few weeks. Delete your device from truck. Then re pair it. Mines been stable since re pair.
