If the truck has high mileage, or a rack thats leaking as the one on my tundra...it's a no brainer to just install a new rack. Installing a new rack is a little trickier so everything lines up, than simply replacing an inner tie rod.
When was the last time you changed one? There's zero risk, if you've ever changed an inner tie rod how I mentioned unless you're stoned, or drunk. Its basically childs play.
I thought it was more than just body mounts. Toyota had harmonic dampers also as part of the tsb. My 2020 sr5 rear differential is still quiet as a church mouse.

Same thing, once you crack loose the inner tie rod jam nut before removing the outer tie rod castle nut. I did the rack on my 2001 tundra plus installed new outer tie rod ends. Its so super simple.
