    Actual 4” RC installed issues

Exactly what he said. I still OffRoad a little bit, but not super heavy stuff. Also for a simple 5100s kit you shouldn't need to replace UCAs, but it would be good to at some point, as you're likely adding some lift and uniball UCAs could really help the articulation.

    Actual 4” RC installed issues

The key is to get a kit with uniball UCAs. They help protect from most issues with spacer lifts. I also don't recommend spacer lifts to anyone. Mine came with the used suspension I bought so I left it on.

    Actual 4” RC installed issues

I've been running my 4" lift for awhile now, didn't cut anything, nothing's broke. Everything is a lot tighter so it's not good for any kind of flexing.

I have a Rough Country 4" lift. At least I believe it is. Spacers, blocks, diff drop. What do you want to know?

    2017 TRD Sport Engine Noise

Oh just realized there's a video. Yeah that's not the grille, disregard my previous post haha I have a 2017 TRD Sport also, I'll try to get in close to confirm if similar sounds.

    2017 TRD Sport Engine Noise

So sounds like it was used when you bought it? Either way, does it have the OEM grille? Many (like myself) replace the grille with TRD Pro grille or something else. It sounds like maybe there's a chance something wasn't connected correctly or came loose? Maybe not but if I was experiencing the...

My experience with a spacer lift

With some simple searching on TacomaForum, TacomaWorld, and countless other sites, it is easy to find many opinions on using a spacer lift. Here's my experience and recommendations from actually installing one myself on my daily driver which I occasionally take on some light to medium trails...

2018 TRD Off Road - Hood Scoop

Exactly. If I could do it all again, rather than getting my TRD Sport, I'd get the off-road and keep an eye out for a sport hood somewhere in future. The TRD pro is just a sport hood and a 2" fox lift on an Off-Road for an extra $10-15K. Not worth it. You could pay someone to do the same...

2018 TRD Off Road - Hood Scoop

Sometimes trd off-road owners buy a trd sport hood and replace theirs. I think the 3rd gen TRD Off-Road hood is like $600 something.

3rd Gen Factory Accessories Worth Getting

I got the OEM trifold tonneau and love it. It seals well against weather, and you can close tailgate before or after the cover. Also the stock one is not cloth so no worry of slice and grab. I highly recommend it. As for other stock options, I got the P&T and recommend it. I wish I would have...

Northern VA - 2017 TRD Sport stock grille - $75

Its in a box in my garage right now, but it's the one that was on in these pics... I got a TRD Pro grille so don't need stock one anymore. Stock grill is in perfect condition, was only on the truck for a week and never got a scratch.

    Toyota brand 2.5" aftermarket lift?

Just chatted with the nearby Toyota dealership my guy mentioned and he confirmed there isn't a Toyota brand lift, it's just a 2" spacer kit all around, then they cut the **** out of the fender to slap 36"s on and put the truck in the showroom for a higher price. Basically exactly like we all...

    2018 Toyota Tacoma Pricing

Meh, I'd put that on the loan. Imagine the long highway miles of an overlanding trip when you can just set Dynamic Cruise Control. Also my hour commute in DC traffic when I head into the office. If one of these jerk offs totaled my 17 TRD Sport MTDCSB tomorrow, Id probably buy an 18 TRD Off-road...

    Toyota brand 2.5" aftermarket lift?

Yeah I bet if it does exist it's low end parts. Bilsteins probably way better.

    Toyota brand 2.5" aftermarket lift?

I'm sitting at the dealership for my 5K maintenance and one of the guys here mentioned a Toyota brand 2.5" lift. I've been doing a ton of research and learning as I plan to lift my 2017 Sport, and I haven't heard of any Toyota brand 2.5" lifts. Only thing I could think of is the stock Fox lift...

Topper, Tonneau or Bed Rack System

I have a tonneau, and I'm planning on getting a cap instead. The tonneau really limits space. The cap has a lot more storage space, can be left on for daily commuting/driving while still being able to access everything inside, it's a dry safe spot for the dogs, don't have to fold anything up to...
