New and excited owner of 2017 Taco Trd 4x4 OR

I have the stock tri-fold tonneau and love it. Solid, secure, and nearly waterproof.

    New Tacoma

Oh also, I can now say from first hand experience, the "sport tuned suspension" vs the "off-road tuned suspension" makes basically zero difference on pavement...but once you're on a trail in the Sport, you feel everything. Is soo tight compared to the Off-road. Can't wait to get some Billys to...

    New Tacoma

Welcome. I have a 17 DCSBMT Sport. Ive crawled in it a bit, even in 4low I still have to give it gas to keep moving, but barely. If I did it all again, I'd get an automatic OR instead. Automatics get push to start and crawl control, plus the OR gets elocking diff, unlike my Sport. BUT I GOT A...

    Bilstein 5100s/OME 887s/Rear AALs

887s (as well as 888s and 886s) are all 2" I believe. So you'd set your 5100s to 1" to theoretically get 3" total. At least that's what I've been told...

    GoPro

Everyone talking about what model GoPro to get, but I don't know anything about that. What's important is that it shoots 1080p at 60fps. You can use it as a dash cam technically, but there are many good reasons not to. I got a $100 dash cam that has never failed me, but it is mounted behind the...

3/1 level kit 2016 trd offroad

The Vengeance model is nice, but the Premium model with full guard looks so damn mean! I want it so bad! Hurry, someone give me a winning lottery ticket...

    Navigation App Issues

That's one of the main reasons I always use Waze etc. Car navigation systems are always behind then a couple years later they have an update and charge $200 for it. Just my experience. I just want to mount my 7" tablet in my dash as my head unit...

    Navigation App Issues

Can't say much myself as I rarely use the built in nav. Waze or Google Maps is always better imo.

3/1 level kit 2016 trd offroad

That's same spacer kit I was planning on doing until someone convinced me to go the Bilstein 5100 route instead. But all my research showed that the 3/1 lift you did should fit that tire size. Didn't check myself though so can't be sure til you try. Be sure to report back!

3 inch lift and BFG KO2s before/after...I'm in love

Pulled the air dam off a little while ago. Figured I should before a root or rock did while I'm on a trail. Although I don't think the air dam extends to where a tire could run on it, but I could be wrong. And no mudflaps so no worries there. Good info to know, as I'm waiting to get new A/T...

3 inch lift and BFG KO2s before/after...I'm in love

A question for you... Do you to think the 0 offset wheels would have solved your rubbing problem without doing the wheelwell trim as well? Or was the trim necessary in addition to the 0 offset wheels in your opinion? I'd love to run 285/70/17s as well, but don't want to modify/trim body if I...

3 inch lift and BFG KO2s before/after...I'm in love

Great thread full of very helpful info regarding 3"spacer lifts on gen3s. I've been looking at various lifts and I've also decided to get a spacer lift soon. One big detail I've noticed is very important is the bump stop spacers. Without a bump stop spacer, the suspension can fully compress and...
