Thoughts about re-gearing and locker configurations

I guess you were lucky. You seem dubious of what I said. If so then Google it for yourself, like I said earlier.

Thoughts about re-gearing and locker configurations

Humbly, I don’t know the answer to that question concerning how or why Toyota included 3.58 gearing in some trucks. It wasn’t as uncommon as you might (reasonably) expect, though. If you look up one of the many VIN sticker decoding charts then you will learn some trucks had even taller gear...

Thoughts about re-gearing and locker configurations

So, All Pro had a stellar deal that I couldn't ignore. They have fully assembled 8.4" rear differentials with Eaton E-Locker available so I pulled the trigger on one with a 4.88 ratio. My primary concern was sourcing an Eaton E-Locker plus the cost associated with assembling it so this really...

Thoughts about re-gearing and locker configurations

EDIT: I invested in a fully assembled rear differential with an Eaton E-Locker and 4.88 gear ratio. I am, however, still searching for the right setup for the front differential (7.5"). I realize it's ultimately a matter of subjective opinion and driving style but, nevertheless, I would like...

Have you ever served a 30-Day Lock-Up at TacomaWorld ? And if so, why ?

Last thing I’ll share about this is the screenshot below. I don’t want to perseverate on what happened; that’s unhealthy. It’s time to keep things moving. But yeah - this is what people said about me immediately afterwards. These are people I was supposed to meet someday to chat and work on...

Seeing an old piece of propaganda Iike that really puts into clear view how ridiculous it is that anyone thought I was being sincere. Also, I looked into the etymology of the word. Turns out Nietzsche didn’t even coin it. That’s how poor my memory - how long ago I read him - really was. And I am...

Nice. The idea of a hood scoop appeals to me but it’s probably overboard. I don’t live in an exceptionally hot area.

Yeah, ha. I have a HUGE pile of stickers at home. I placed them all over my laptop for work. I don’t want to just throw them away. I think vehicles covered in stickers look tacky. But, under the hood - that seems OK.

All of the friends I have made IRL laughed when I asked if they are on TW. Some of them are extremely talented fabricators. Now I understand why they laughed.

In that sense, I am blessed for what happened. My only hope is that I don’t ever pay some sort of price IRL because someone thinks I am a bad person deserving of punishment - all because of an ostensible mistake I made. It is what it is. Thanks.

TW is sterile and boring. It’s the same repetitive threads over and over again. I decided to create a couple of jocular threads to have fun and make people laugh. I don’t really use forums so it never dawned on me that people might be so boring over there because of the Code of Conduct. In...
