Review: 3M Headlight Restoration Kit (with before/after pics)

No problem! Another really great thing with this particular kit is that it's good for at least two sets of headlights. 3M includes eight sanding pads (4x500 grit, 4x800 grit), a super fine finishing pad, and a tremendously reusable buffing disc. As long as you don't let crap build up in your...

Review: 3M Headlight Restoration Kit (with before/after pics)

My headlights were bad. Like...really fuzzy lookin'. The light output was suffering tremendously (even with Sylvania Silverstar Ultras) and they generally looked like crap. I attempted the ubiquitous toothpaste method, but all that left me with was gingivitis free headlights that smelled...

    2013 base 2wd. Tire/wheel size help!

Yup, those stock tires are an embarrassment. First thing I did was throw on some larger rubber. From what I've gathered, the largest you can go sans modification is 235/75R15. If you're willing to cut some plastic, you can do the "Black Box Mod" and stuff some 30" tires in there. Anything...

    Performance chip will they void

The only thing those "performance chips" void is the purchaser's credibility with regards to their spending habits. The only modern-day vehicles I've seen benefit from any kind of "chipping" are those with stock turbos...and then those chips are in the $200-500 range. A buddy and I went to the...

Is your Tacoma your daily driver

I know! I was doing backflips when I calculated that mileage! Keep in mind that's also 100% highway. I had been looking at an FJ Cruiser and a TRD access cab, but when I saw they mileage they got in the real world... I'm pretty happy with my 5-lugger.

Is your Tacoma your daily driver

I got mine mainly to do long distance trips across the mountains (Alberta to BC) and for basic yard work. Turns out I love it so bloody much I seem to be finding reasons to drive her every day! Good thing it's a 5-lug...MUCH better on gas that way. Just got 27mpg on my last trip without...
