Is it pretty easy to hold hills and such? And is off-roading it easy to use the gears? How about get up speed? Gas mileage? Max speed? Compared to auto?

Is the auto transmission really terrible? I mostly drive on the road but I work for the city of Seattle and some of the hills are killer!

Is the manual transmission worth giving up the crawl control and terrain select? Or is I guess another way to word it, is the crawl control and Terrain select worth giving up the sweet 6speed manual? I think I decided on the long bed now but I also understand the 6speed only comes in the short...

Thank you for that, best response yet. I was starting to convince myself of the long bed for the extra room, but like you said I don't really need it. I will be working in Seattle and commuting 40 miles daily to work and 40 miles back, so the short bed may be my best option.

Do you think I could still fit a quad, or even a couch or whatever with the short bed, with tail gate down and tied down? I think the long bed just looks so long! (Total truck length) but if it has so much advantage I would role with it.
