I had a similar problem with my Jeep, it was caused by dirty fuel injectors. I dump a bottle of Techron in the tank and 100 miles latter the problem was gone.

I was crawling around under the dash of my 2013 Taco and realized I can't find the OBD II port. Most older cars have one under the dash on the drivers side. Does anyone know where it is or if Toyota eliminated it to keep the owners from checking and clearing trouble codes?

I went from a 2005 Rubicon 6spd 35's long arm suspension Fox shocks ect... 11mpg on a good day, to a 2013 Taco access cab 6spd TRD, I don't miss my Jeep on the freeway or around town. So far 100% happy with my decision.

I ran Mobil 1 in my drag car until I seized the crank and rod bearings. I switched to synthetic blend 15 years ago and still going strong. I use synthetic blend in all my vehicles now.
