Interesting thread. I noticed mine downshifts hard as I'm coming to a stop, but I don't detect any fading in the brakes. I have a 2017 SR5 with only 2300 miles on it so far. I remember the days when transmissions didn't need software updates! I'll have to check on that.

Regardless of what the manual says, it takes about 5000 miles to truly break in an engine. During that time, you'll get low gas mileage. I have a 2017 SR5, and I'm averaging about 21 mpg. Actually, that's not too bad considering I only have about 2100 miles on it. Once the engine is broken...

Yep, I plan to do that. I just received a notification that iOS 10.2 came out, so I'm glad I didn't waste my time telling the phone again until I updated my devices. Hopefully, that will fix the problem. Thanks for replying!
