    Catch Can

I'd like to add one to my Tacoma but was wondering. Which catch can do you think is the best for the Tacoma? Where did you install it? Got pictures? Thanks!

    Oil Filter

I always use the Toyota oil filters. I was told at a dealership a long time ago (this could be BS but it convinved me) that after market oil filter's bypass valves would open up under much lower pressures than the what the Toyota's engines ran at. Hence, no filtration. Also, the Toyota's oil...

Why did you buy a Tacoma?

Started with a Toyota truck in 81. Used it in my electrical business. Loved the size, lived the reliability. Went to a Nissan in 92 and it was nice but went back to Toyota in 02. Now in 13, I stayed brand loyal. I like the smaller size and I love the quality of the Tacoma.

    Rear lift?

On my 02 taco, to carry my camper, I put those Firestone airbags in. They worked very well for carrying a full pallet of pellets for my stove too. Had a little pump under the hood with the gauge and levers under the dash. Neat little set up. Plumbing the tubing under the dash was more difficult...

    More snow????

BTW, I was almost disappointed. Roads were much better than I expected. Obviously no trouble. With my mostly ice covered mirrors the back up camera was wonderful parking at work. I hate pulling straight in.

Friends b.s talk turning to v8 taco?

I vote for the LS1. With the light weight of an aluminum engine it'll help with its balance and handling characteristics.

    More snow????

LOL! I hear that. The snow plows do a great job up here and most of time they are out all night but that sure doesn't help the crazies down one bit. With a taco and reduced speed I feel like I can go anywhere. Of course I now have the sport package and not the or package but I don't think that...

That's fortunate, I hope you're lucky enough to continue to escape the knife but sometimes it's unavoidable. Yes indeed, if I can continue in figuring out this phone app. It's not as complete as the regular computer page but its what I use most of the time. Nice meeting you too!

I feel your pain. It's been 28 years since my last back operation... And now my knees are plaguing me. Hang in there, I'm glad shifting is helping you. Thanks for the welcome all!!!

    More snow????

We've got a good wet 4" to 6" here in central Colorado. We need it. I get to commute to work in it early in the morning. Ive never missed work because of snow since I've driven a taco. That's 11 years now.

(In my best Homer impersonation) "Awe Chevelle." Great car! Lucky you. I've always liked shifting but a.g.e. is catching up with certain parts of me. Just a couple of years ago I blew my shoulder out shifting my GTO. Now if that ain't a pi$$er. Had to drive the wife's auto while I recovered from...

Just a wag but I'm guessing no. I think your 110 is coming from your alternator and not your battery.

What brand of Wax do u use on your truck

I really like Zaino. It's a sealant though and not a wax. Doesn't leave any of that white stuff behind and it smells good. Makes our 11 year old 4 Runner look brand new.
