The pack rack from all pro offroad uses a piece of flat bar that slides into where the tie down cleats are in. The flat bar then has drilled and tapped holes in them so when you tighten the bolts up it pulls against the lip on the rail
Odds are you have a 4.10 ratio in it. If the truck has ABS then you can pretty much put any tacoma axle in as long as it has the abs sensor. Just measure your leaf spring perches and shock locations to double check it will work
No problem. Yeah id ditch the mudflaps if you haven't already, try it without he spacers see if that helps. What sucks is just how small the fender wells are on the tacomas
I don't know first hand trying to squeeze 35s on a 2nd gen tacoma. But probably have to ditch the front mudflaps and might have to do a cab body mount chop

For long travel check out all pro offroad, camburg, total chaos, and icon to start. Think that's kind of the big guys out there for it I can't quite think of others. If your on a budget might just do upper control arms and extended coilovers
There really is no difference with lift kits if it's long bed or short. The issue with the warranty is if the dealer thinks the lift caused the damage or issue with the truck. If they instal the lift then you won't have to worry about that. I went with the arb full lift kit with the rear leaf...
Well bumping up a tire size does mess with the odometer so your actually traveling farther then what it says. But I'm getting about the same. Average 19 or so then 23 on the highway. That's with summer gas in the winter I lose about 2-3 mpg
