yeah I follow this practice too. Sometimes my dealer will match or even do better than using online places. I always check craigslist for tacoma mods...sometimes there are great deals out there or the forums. I have made some great purchases from members of the tacoma forums.

When my truck did this is was the actuator like whipper said. Nothing I could do to get it not work. Mine was replaced under warranty. Maybe the cleaning thing will help

I have an Extang Trifecta soft trifold. It works great. I had the same tonneau on my last tacoma for 4.5 yrs. no issues in Vermont. It saw lots of snow, ice, extreme temps. Worked like a charm.

I avg 17.7 mpg around town driving a 2013 DC OR SB 4x4 V6 auto stock w/ 5500 miles. My best tank has been 20.3. My 2006 tacoma same configuration avg the same numbers in the 4.5 yrs I drove it.
