Even in ma. it's the same. A buddy was pulled over for having a 6'' lift and 35's on his silverado going through lee ma. State cop pulled out a yard stick, and measured his front bumper.

    brake drum gasket?

I think what you consider as a "fair price" vanished about 8 years ago. Example. Toyota want $2000 to replace the CV axles on my truck. I did the work for <$200 in parts, about 5 hours working with floor jack and jack stands....no air tools. I'm sure with proper lift and air tools this is...

    Do rear brakes auto adjust?

Basically, lift the rear off the ground. Find the star adjuster wheel under a rubber plug on the inboard side of the drum. Turn the star until the rear wheel begins to drag when turned. Then back the star off a bit until the rear wheel turns free.

Brake Diving, Weight Distribution, Tire Wear

No lift, stock TRD Offroad… just with a steel bumper and winch added by the prior owner. It also has a MountainTop metal rollup tonneau which looks to be about 100lbs.

Brake Diving, Weight Distribution, Tire Wear

I agree get all the access weight off the front end. Almost sounds like someone did a lift without a front end alignment, or worse they did a lift without using the proper upper control arms.

    the climate crisis...

    Wheel offset.

You put a 6" lift on it. You have changed the aerodynamics and harmonics. If you still have the factory air dam on it first make sure it is tightly attached. If not tighten it. If it is properly attached try removing it. If that doensn't resolve the issue, reinstall and start checking inner...

    Wheel offset.

FWIW. Stock 17" Gen2 alloys have an offset of +30. These wheels easily take a 265/65-17 tire. No rub and no lift needed. Remember, a 6" lift only increases vertical height. It does nothing for turning clearance.

Do I need a new UCA?

Well I got it aligned and it does drive straight, there is some vibration when I go 80, so basically if I want it to run smoother get better UCA

    Wheel offset.

I just put in a 6” lift in my 2020 TRD Tacoma. I planned on changing the wheels and tires to a 285/70/17. Any advice on the offset wheel I should go with.

Do I need a new UCA?

My RC 3.5'' lift came with upper control arms. Truck drives like stock plus a bit more height.

Do I need a new UCA?

A buddy of mine installed a RC 3'' lift in his 2019, and really screwed up his truck with all sorts of issues afterwards. We told him he needed upper control arms to solve most of it, but he cheaped out not putting any more money into the lift. The end result was putting it back to stock, and...

Do I need a new UCA?

Agreed. Many problems begin when DIY suspension modifications are installed. FWIW, a couple points to consider. A lift only increases body height. It does nothing for wheel turning clearance. The lift is vertical. You could go to larger wheels that are within the limits of the truck's...

    Tools...

i know of NO floor jack(stands) that will properly lift the truck to a height that i can easily walk underneath to inspect everything i need to clean and inspect closeup with the use of both arms and possible easement of neck strain+ i suffer from endlessly i would even settle for an equipment...

    Tools...

Yep, reason why I haven't bought that type of lift. I have 2 sets of 3 ton jack stands, plus a 3 ton hydraulic floor jack. Even use my harbor freight ramps that are rated the same once in awhile.
