How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

Good lookin' rig TexasBigBlue! I'm a chrome guy myself! I just turned 47 a few weeks ago but I've always liked the classic old school look of chrome! I'll take chrome rims over black rims any day! I like black trucks and cars but I gotta have some chrome on that sucker! Chrome grille, chrome...

How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

So my days of monster tires and lift kits expired about 30 years ago but the owner of this gen2 SR5 did it right. Just a little 1" or 2 inch lift kit and mildly bigger tires is in good taste for me. The chrome rear chrome bumper and running boards accent the MidnightBlack exterior, with a good...

How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

Yeah dual exhaust only sounds good on a V8, on a 4 cyl. it definitely sounds like crap! Even on a V6 it sounds a little crappy, maybe not as much as on a 4 cyl. though! Never been a fan of that sh*t myself!

How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

Just came back from giving my brother a lift to pickup his 1977 trans am that he had a whole bunch of service done to it. On the way back home I was in the back of a gen3 Georgia plated white tacoma 4x4 that was rigged with dual exhaust. It sounded like crap every time this guy got on it. It...

For some odd reason I just have a craving for a mountain dew.

How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

And then, on my way home from Home Depot I notice the craziest color yet I have seen in real time and not in pictures. The ElectricLime gen3 TRD Sport with a nice bed cover and a slight lift kit, and the hood scoop is painted flat back. I know my VooDooBlue pops, but this color "pops" a bit to...

Bud light truly sucks...you couldn't pay me to drink that swill....that queer beer needs to be consumed by the LGBT community....thats where it belongs as far I'm concerned. Heck even miller lite tastes better.

How often do you park beside another Tacoma….

This was the day for gen3's because after the black puma, I spot a CavalryBlue gen3 Sport parked at Walmart. Lift kit, bigger tires, and subdued running boards are nice. I still dislike those gay, factory "roof rails". No offense LBGT community, drink a Bud Light on me….

    Tire pressures.

And low tire pressure. I know if I can keep my speeds at 65 mph or less, I can get that sticker advertised mpg. Going over 75 mph all bets are off.

    Tire pressures.

All correct. I just never seem to get the mileage they state the truck gets, but now it looks like I do with a couple more psi. Probably shouldn't wear the tires any different. And I definitely didn't buy a tacoma for good gas mileage. I bought this truck as my off road beach vehicle mainly. I...

    Tire pressures.

Yes, a "hard" tire will have less rolling resistance leading to less fuel consumption per mile, ie higher mpg. This is why trains use steel wheels on steel rails, less rolling resistance = bigger loads with less power. Downsides. Harsher ride, faster tire wear focused on the center of the...

    OEM Jack

On any of these jacks, including (maybe especially) the OEM, make sure you have either enough lifting height or some means of extending the lift if your vehicle is lifted I'd need more than my fingers and toes to count the number of times I've come across folks with lifted vehicles and no way...

    33x12.5x17

A point many miss....... The 3" lift only gives vertical height. The horizontal is still fixed. Meaning clearance for turning the wheels full lock is frequently an interference point. Same issue with the rear of the fender wheel, common area for rub. Any way you could do a trial fit with a...

    33x12.5x17

I'm new to the bigger tires and offset wheels etc... Does someone know if a -12 offset 17"wheel is enough to run 33x12.5x17 on my my 2010 Taco that has a 3" lift

    OEM Jack

The Powerbuilts are nice. I bought one to try out and it works as advertised. Two issues. First the thing weighs over twenty pounds, it might weigh even more than my Hi Lift. Second it is very bulky. They are great for the garage though.

    OEM Jack

Put it in the middle and lift one whole side of the truck or both rear tires or both front tires for tire rotation as well.
