    Hello all

Welcome to the forum. :) Budget is going to be the biggest factor. Look at King suspension kits. $$$$ Old man emu suspension kits $$$ Bilstein kits $$ Stay away from any spacer kits if you want ride quality, durability and longevity. $

2019 TRD Offroad Facelift, Suspension and Wheels

This is my first post but I thought it would be cool to share what I am doing with my Tacoma. This Thursday October 3rd I am having a TOYTEC Complete Suspension kit installed with new upper control arms as well I also got the new Black Rhino Kelso Rims in matt black 17 inch with TOYO AT 2...

    Lift kit

I like Toytec, but I don't think that it's a Toyota company... they just specialize in Toyotas. That's why I chose them 3 Tacomas ago... they're in Denver, CO. Murica... lol https://www.toyteclifts.com/complete-lift-kits.html

    Level kit question.

You have a 3” in front and 2” in back the truck has an OEM rear rake of ~1”. That kit has you about as high as you can go up front before you’ll need UCA and get into $$$. Thickness of spacer doubled is the lift it gives. ie 1.5”=3” lift 1”=2” lift 1.25”=2.5” lift I’d listen to...

2018 SR5 Budget Build possibilities, Need a little help

You could always go with a 3 inch leveling kit. Might be aboul to get those tires under it as well. Leveling kits are way cheaper that lift kits and it's a good way to start.

Add lights, always a good thing. Different grills are easy. Running boards and bull bars. Leveling kit or lift kits are cool. Custom rims maybe. I see alot of tacomas out there and I dont want to see mine so make your original looking to you so when looking at other tacomas your not looking at...

    Beach tires and lift kit.

Welcome to the forum. I don’t know how active pirate4x4.com forum is anymore. Haven’t been on there in years 265/75/16 biggest on stock. Even with a 2” lift that is the biggest tire without a lower offset rim to clear the UCA. Lower the wheel offset and you could fit 285/75/16. Taller skinny...

    Lift and tire suggestions

What’s reasonably priced? $1000? $2000? $5000? Subjectively speaking... Bilstein 5100’s all around set at 2.5” in front and a progressive AAL on back works for fitting 33” tires. You’ll need wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels with a lower offset to clear the UCA’s. There is a good OME kits...

    Lift Advice/help

Okay so this is another question but for ome suspension. I don't need the shocks with a Reservoir as this is my daily driver and will be at most used OR 20% a year. Anyone have insight into these kits? https://www.toyteclifts.com/ome-tak16-ome-tacoma-suspension-lift-kit-for-2016-tacoma.html

    Lifting my truck

What’s your budget? $300, $500, $1000, $1500? More? What’s going to be the use of the vehicle? Offroad on the weekends? Street DD? Lots of off-road?

    Lifting my truck

Strut spacers aren't the greatest idea if your looking for off raod performance. If you just want the lift for the look and don't plan on doing too much off roading then I say go ahead. But be careful because those strut spacers tend to break **** haha. I say if you want looks and performance...

    Lifting my truck

So I am thinking of lifting my taco in the spring. I saw some kits that lift the front 3" and options for the back 2 or 3". I have worked on cars for a while and am good with tools so have no worries of installing them myself. Just wondering if anyone has used one of these kits? Brands you...

    Wheel spacers

Glad you had good luck and absolutely no issues. Guess those who didn't have the same luck were just unlucky. I ran a 2 1/2" leveling kit which was harsh just driving on bumpy roads not to mention off-road. Didn't take me long to realize they suck. Went with a complete lift kit including add a...

    Leveling Kit

None... Leveling kits are a slick way to avoid calling their product a POS spacer lift with blocks out back. 5100 shocks up front at least and an add a leaf....preferably a progressive. Ideally... 5100 shocks all around, front at bottom notch, use ome or eibach/toytech coils for front lift and...
