    Wheels, tires, and leveling kit

If you go with 2 1/2" to 3" of lift in front I would highly recommend adjustable upper control arms. This will allow custom alignment. You will be able to get better control of steering with more caster. I have a 3" lift and before adding UCA's steering was ****ty. Then adding the UCA's I was...

    Wheels, tires, and leveling kit

Get some Bilstein 5100 front shocks and some eibach or ome lift coils, not a silly spacer (leveling kit). Then get 5100 rear shocks and pair with a PROGRESSIVE add a leaf. Don't go above 3" in the front unless you want to buy new upper control arms .. and DO NOT waste money on a diff drop. As...

2018 inferno red TRD Sport- lift kit/ tires ?

Your not sounding stupid. Lift are a lot of money and you need to ask questions. The safety of you driving at 70 mph on the interstate deserves question about a lift. The guys on here feel the same wayl

2018 inferno red TRD Sport- lift kit/ tires ?

You can usually find the OME coils, 5100’s and an AAL for around $1000 or less depending on how much you want to search the deals. @whippersnapper02 posted a link to a company that sales the 5100’s at a good price. Install should be about $250-400 depending on the shop and how much they charge...

2018 inferno red TRD Sport- lift kit/ tires ?

If your looking for a lift but not a huge lift, ReadyLift SST kits work great. They're kind of a leveling kit. Got 3" lift in the front and 2" lift in the back. I've got 17" Black KMC Machete wheels with - 38 offset and 3.5 backspacing. Also bought 2"Bora wheel spacers to give it a meaner...

    Lift and Tires

That is some live and learn advice lol. I'm running the 17's that come in the sport and 4runner the offset is why I'm using the spacers not for looks it runs the upper control arm bc it's a 11.2 inch tire and it was cheaper than getting new rims

    Lift and Tires

Just noticed you’re in a 2nd gen. Don’t use spacers if you want a better ride for DD and more ability off-road. 5100’s is better for not much more money. The OME kits are good too. If you had a 3rd gen off-road and wanted to lift it 3” for tires and looks the revtek Pro 40013 is the best of the...

    Lift and Tires

I also run my trucks harder on a weekly basis than most people ever do in a lifetime... just because you put a cheap spacer lift on your truck doesn't mean that this will happen at the next speed bump... but I wasn't doing anything out of hand when this happened. Thankfully, my new coilovers...

    Bilstein B8 series

Any one seen these or have them on yet? They seem like they are comparable to OME BP-51, Fox 2.5 and King OEM https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyota-tacoma/2005-2015/complete-lift-kits-tacoma-05-and-up/bilstein-b8-series-0-6-2-5-lift-kit-2005-2015-toyota-tacoma-4wd/
