    Tire size question

Leveling kits only raise the front enough to match the rear height. You won't be able to fit any larger. Now if you went with a lift kit you would need at least 3 inches to clear 285s.

    Lift and tires suggestions.

You'll be happy with the 5100's. Stick with a load range C light weight AT for tires if you want to keep a few mpg's. You can still get a good looking tire and won't have to have the extra rotating weight dragging you down and will be a smoother ride for your daily driver. Use the search up...

    Lift and tires suggestions.

What’s up guys. I have a quote to lift my 2018 trd sport. They have different lift kits. One is Forged steel. Another is blistien 5100 and fox. And tires would be rbp.( most likely mud tires). Any experiences with those lift kits and tires. Please let me know!!! FYI, my car is strictly commute...

Want to upgrade wheels/tires with no lift

Thanks for the setup!! Looks and fits great. I did have to trim one inch of the inside mud flap but that was it. But I did go with the KM2 mud terrain. Might be the slight difference. Also, the old TPMS went in without an issue. Worst case scenario you can pickup a couple rebuild kits for a few...

What is the best 2-3" Lift Kit and Biggest Tires I Can Fit on my 18 Tacoma?

Thank you for replying to this. thats a lot of info. to answer your questions: My plan for the truck is to just have a more aggressive look. I will almost never do any serious offloading its my daily driver - offload maybe 1 a week and its not extreme at all (like driving down a dirt road lol)...

What is the best 2-3" Lift Kit and Biggest Tires I Can Fit on my 18 Tacoma?

Congrats on the new Tacoma. Welcome to the forum. I’m guessing you mean without rubbing or trimming. Without doing a CMC and some molding or trimming once you put 285/75/16 or similar you’ll have some rubbing at lock when you hit bumps. This topic has been talked about a lot on this forum and on...

Need help with Leveling kits and tire sizes

I cant reccomend a spacer kit (leveling kits are just spacerlifts). The ride will suffer. I spose the lesser evil is a bilstein 5100 up front, but even those can get harsh if lifting past 1.75". Ideally a proper hieght lifting spring/coil mounted to a bilstein 5100 (shock itself set at zero...

    Which lift kit is correct?

You’re not going to be want to go 4” with a 4x4 they don’t really make any kits for that height. 2.5-3” is as much as I would lift a Tacoma 4x4. They handle best at less than 3” with 285/75/16 tires on 0 or -6 offset wheels. At 3” you’ll probably want new UCA to get the alignment right. For your...

6 inch lift with 285/75/17 tires

Maxtrac for spindles with a new leaf pack out back if you are a prerunner. Maybe BDS for a 4wd drop bracket lift. Spend more on the coilovers.

My biggest reason for wanting an LT is because I wanna throw McNeil racing 3x2 flares, in one of his pics it looked like his front wheels stuck out further. Is that also done by spindles or were spacers involved? I have a Prerunner.

The spindle holds the hub for the wheel and is connected to the UCA and LCA. This kit is great man but it’s overlooked because most people seem to lift 4x4s which makes sense. these kits are 2WD only

Want to upgrade wheels/tires with no lift

IMO best would be the King OEM performance series. You’re looking around $3700 for the lift. It will give you 3” https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyota-tacoma/2005-2015/complete-lift-kits-tacoma-05-and-up/3-king-suspension-lift-kit-2005-2015-toyota-tacoma/ If you want to go a little cheaper OME...

    New billies

It looks like you would get 2-2.5” of lift with the bilsteins set to 0. The coils would provide the lift. When you can get lift from coils vs extension of shocks it’s usually going to be a better ride. Depends on the stiffness of the coils.

    New billies

Would these coils be better than my stock ones on the 5100s could I use more shock travel and not have to turn them up so far? Here’s a link to the kit but I have a guy that has them for sale. (Coils only)...
