Hey everyone! Just ordered a rough country 6 inch suspension lift kit and was wondering if anyone has experience installing lift kits on their own and how hard is it? Not wanting to pay some shop to do it but also don't want to screw my truck up haha!

Depends on the kit and the gen. Gen 3 is an inch taller at stock height so the same lift that would lift a gen2, 3" will only lift a gen3, 2" from stock height.

With the optional trim packer on their struts, or 1/4" spacers on 5100s they give 3" if i remember correctly?
