Biggest wheels with low pro tires?

Hey all...new member here. Got rear ended in my beloved 1997 5 lugger recently and replaced it with a cherry 2004 5 lugger. 120k miles!

Anyway...I wanna go a little custom with this one. I want to fut the biggest wheels and low profile tires underneath her, hopefully without making any major mods. I could deal with a small lift up front if needed.


Any experience from the masses with this here? I know it's not the normal wheel and tire question ..most want to go bigger wheel and tires with lifts....

Looks like a stick size would have been 225/75-15. The S-runner came 235/55-16. I’d look for something 255/265 in an 18 or 20, with a sidewalk in the 30/35 ratio. Play with some of those numbers. Should be able to get a large rim, with a set of rubber bands. I’ll do some looking and see what I can find.
 
Ooooh....good info. Yeah stock size on this. Dont have the numbers right now.

Didn't know how how thin the 20's were made...that's the key I think. May still need to do a 1" lift up front
