Circuit board issue maybe

My key fob stopped working on my 2023 Tacoma. Changed batteries still not working. Put original battery back in and it worked. Now auto headlights did not work last night and my average mileage settings changed to zero when I started the truck. Today the auto headlights are working again.
Anyone have a clue?

It sounds typical for stuff like that when a power supply gets a spike of bad electricity which confuses the microprocessor chip in a computer. This requires a hard reset removing all power sources for a minute, or so that generally corrects the issue. Maybe you had something similar happen.
As far as those toyota fob's....the wife accidentally tossed my 2020 tacoma keys in the washer, then in the dryer a couple times. Gotta say those fob's are tough...no worse for wear. They still work as good as before. Same original battery to.
