Discount tire Falken wildPeaks

Try general A/T2 grabbers. They work much better in deep snow than bfg ko's, and aren't noisy. Price is right to. I know by all your posts, your an off road 4wd mud freak, but my experience with them in mud had sucked.

Dude.....you're killin' me.

gen2 tire chat here

original dunlops from 2o11 lasted until just about 54k
the 2nd set of shoes (falken WPs) have just about that mileage on them, about 1k miles 2 go
gotta get the treads measured and see how much longer they are good for and start looking for tire deals possibly :(

Well, at a shade over 30k mile the original Firestone destination all season tires on my truck are about toast. Just hoping they make it through winter.

We just put the AT-4w wild peaks on my work van .has cursers on it from master craft got about 500 miles on them nice tire have a little more rumble and gas mpg is about the same they turn into a corner much quicker which I like and way better in the snow ,they are beefy $202.99 eachIMG_20250312_094937164.jpg

I'm still up in the air with tires for my truck. Can't decide whether goodyear workhorse, kumho crugen's, or Firestone le3's. Don't need a more aggressive tire. Truck is better in 2wd than my tundra was in 4wd.

I always had good luck with the kuhmos on my tundra exstas stx but they don't make the size I want in 17 inch ,probably get the nexan rodians very similar tread pattern

I'm just trying to stay close to the original tire weights the truck came. With this type of 3.5 engine, these trucks don't like heavy tires. Anytime you add a lb. more rotational mass with the shortage of low end torque this engine produces, it costs several hp. That makes a huge difference the way this truck performs.

Never been a firestone guy, but I'm warming up to them. Really can't complain how the original tires performed on this truck after beating the crap out of them for 5 years.

So follow up for the wildpeaks at 200 miles I'm not very impressed I wouldn't put them on the Taco they have very squishy sidewalls at 60 lbs in front and 70 lbs rear pressure ,on the highway ,but they do turn into a corner nice little bit grabby for turns but I like that , great through good size puddles.but I lost about 2-3 miles a gallon from the Mastercraft Cursers , I would give them a 6 over all t 202 bucks each,I like the Hankooks AT-Ms on my Taco way better. And they were a $117 each .

No one I know of runs those kinds of tire pressure on a mid size truck, unless your tire pressure gauge isn't reading correct.
I even think those tires have maximum inflation pressure warning of 50 lbs., never to exceed.
Been running 32 lbs here in my tacoma, and its seems perfect for tire wear. My tire pressure gauge reads within 1lb of my trucks
