How to update Toyota nav maps?

On the 2016 Tacoma how do you update the navigation system maps? Does it automatically update?

Asked the dealer the same question.
For a mere $170 a year they will sell you an update map.
On the other hand most if not all Garmin products now come with lifetime map updates.

Download the scout gps link app on your phone it will connect to your car via Bluetooth

Sounds like it has potential but needs work. Lots of work.
Worth the price though.

I sell Toyotas and Scout GPS app works great only down side is it uses phone data but beats $170
