the climate crisis...

Some guy claims a gas station hot dog saved his life from the recent tornadoes on the IA NE border

Last time I ate a gas station sandwich, it put me on the crapper for 3 days.
Btw, temps almost hit 80 today.

Was going to power wash my outdoor front steps, and do some masonry work on them today, but it's raining again. Only thing I can count on with all this rain is the grass growing as fast as I can mow it.

The drought that has persisted on the plains for the past two years is almost over o_O

Climate Crisis = Political $$ Grab.

Drought continues here. This area is more than 1.25" behind average rainfall. June is just a couple weeks away. The "dry" time is nearing.

Does anyone remember the dire warnings of coastal towns being flooded by seawater due to glacier melt? Have any towns or cities been flooded by rising seawater???? Florida still above water?

is it all nasty muggy humid there in the east?

the kind of nasty that the windows immediately fogg all over

I wouldn't go so far as muggy, and humid. It's been breezy here around 60 degrees with constant rain thats heavier at times. Suppose to end by late afternoon.

a couple more feet of water would have been a major disaster with the city creeks overflowing the banks into residential and commercial, they are usually 15 or 20 foot deep down there and today were mini rivers o_O o_O o_O wheeled through a small water crossing on a city backstreet near a mercedes that succumbed to the impassable water

Just cut my lawn again, wow it feels hot when out in the sun, yet the temp is only 83 degrees. Feels more like 90. Suppose to rain thursday and the entire week after, just when things were drying out.

Was a warm one today, temp display inside my truck said 92 degrees while driving to my shop before clicking the ac on.
