What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Move to IA. Got about 6-8 inches sitting in the yard, not counting drifts. This is after 24 hours above 32F.
lucky you!

Council Bluffs, Tacomaha and stinkin' linkin' had near zero new snowfall , just cold zero temps and flurries to add to a pity of snow cover... this is the 2nd year in a row of well-below winter snow and more drought conditions looming...
the latest storm passed over to the north near Sioux City area and north of there and north i read

No snow here yet either, but drive 50 miles north and there's enough to go snowmobiling in greylock national park. Even the lake I'm on hasn't completely frozen over...just started Saturday morning to freeze. If it warms up again it'll stay open water.

oh my! that is some high elevation in that park
3,491 feet

Drove my Taco to Walmart today and scored a nice Ford Yellow step-side pickup and a Jeep Galdiator "Fire & Rescue" by Adventure Force. At 97¢ each, they are a little bit cheaper than the Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars at $1.18 but much, much less quality. Still a nice score…..

Yeah vs the 2k+ taconic hills in back of my home. It's about 20 degrees cooler at the summit of mt greylock vs 50 miles south in my yard. It's a nice 5 mile or so trail ride from the visitors parking lot to the summit by car, or snowmobile if in winter. Lots of other trails up there too.

took some WD40 on a rag and wiped what i could reach on that dirty alternator, made it a bit more silvery looking on top at least

So today I drove the Taco to yet another Walmart today in Prosper and, as I was backing out of my parking spot, Karen and her white Porsche Cayenne starting pulling out of her spot three seconds later. I see her reverse lights come on, I brake to a stop, she's still in reverse coming right at me, I blast the horn for three seconds and BAM ! she rear ends me. We exit our vehicles at the same time and she demands my insurance information.

I ask her if she's ok. No response. I ask her if she saw me backing first. No response. I ask her if she heard me honking my horn. She says, no the radio was on. She leaves the scene and I wait for the police to show up. After the officer accesses the situation, she says the incident was on private property and she will NOT be writing an accident report and says the insurance companies will decide fault.

Really no damage to my bumper. Goo-be-gone will wipe her paint off my bumper. I was a little shocked to say the least but I did make a report with my insurance company when I got home. I have a front mounted dashcam and now I wish I would have spent the extra $200 for a rear dashcam. What a freaking day.

Who even backs out of a crowded lot with radio up loud and windows not cracked to hear any warnings, horns, yelling

I saw this once at a McDonald's lot except the perp backing out into a guy and his lady pushing a baby stroller!

I hate WalMart with a passion. Nothing good comes from there.

I'm surprised the police even showed up in a private lot to an accident without injuries.

Be aware, document everything you can. She is taking a pic of your plate. Look for a summons to Small Claims Court. Did you get pics of the damage to both vehicles? I hope you did. Don't clean the bumper, make a stop at a Body Shop for an estimate to repair. I know, it seems moronic, but you know how the entitled think. If your front dash cam has a recording at the time, be sure to save it.

That sucks. I've learned my lesson years ago in parking lots as such, yet I still managed to get a small dinger on my quarter panel from an older 2500 4wd ram that parked way too close. I was going forward from my parking space as he pulled in, and flung his door open....right into my rear quarter panel....Happened at those small parking places at Walmart to.

We have 43F and sun here today. Roads are dry and clear. Went to the local Pay-N-Spray for a rinse. Tomorrow, expecting rain and cold........back to winter........

Got a good deal of winter schmutz off the truck.

Watched a kid with a Mustang GT in the bay peel off part of his racing stripe. All I could do to keep from laughing. Remember, those high pressure spray wands clean everything the closer you put the tip to the car.

Yup, when I power washed my older boat a few years ago it blew the stripes, and decal graphics right off

Tires rotated at DT
7/32 tread on them after 82k miles
They just might see 120k miles!
Nevertheless got a quote on some falken wildpeaks for next set of shoes
850$ out-the+door

I'm still on my Goodyear adventure tires...only 21k, and change.
My original set of Toyo tires that came new with my Tacoma made it to 58,000 miles with a few more thousand to go but I didn't want to take any chances so bought the next set a bit early. Sounds like you have many more miles on those Goodyear's though. That reminds me tacojoel, what do you with a set of used tires ?

I sold the original all season firestones that came on my truck for $250. They had about 200 miles on them. I already had bought the goodyears to put on my tundra, instead kept them for the tacoma.
As far as all used up old tires, I can bring up to 4 of them to the recycle bin for our town.
