    Mystery sound

I'll admit to cross-posting (don't even know if that's a bad thing anymore) because I got the ultimate answers on another forum if you're curious: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/strange-sound.615477/

    Mystery sound

Tried that (mechanic thing) several times. Doesn't always happen. The last one heard it and installed the plugs, no effect. Hey can you confirm my file did not blow up your computer? :) Trying to get a lot more people to listen in case someone else has had the same problem.

    Mystery sound

Attached is a recording of a strange whistling sound my 2017 Access Cab 4 cyl auto trans makes when accelerating as it shifts into 3d or 4th (30-40 mph), only when the A/C is on. The recording is a bunch of different occurances clipped together - it doesn't happen continuously, usually just...

    Simplest box mount dumb question

There must be an easier way. Isn't there an easier way to securely attach a bed box than bolting it in through the bottom?

    A/C whistle?

2017 taco access cab 4 cyl. Only when A/C is on there is a brief loudish whistling sound coming from passenger side under dash area as transmission shifts up, usually around 2d or 3d gear. Dealer replaced condenser under warranty, it happens a little less often but still happens. Any ideas?

    Bed rail question

"You can also mount D-rings under the bed rail system you don’t gave to remove it." I like that option. Thanks. I do have the original tiedowns but had forgotten about them!

    Bed rail question

Thanks! But looking at that nut on Amazon, I guess I'm not getting how they work. Doesn't a bolt threaded into it go all the way through and out the other side? What pulls it out against the track? For example the ones that come with the truck the bolt is mounted so it pulls the t-nut out.

    Bed rail question

T-nuts? Where and what size? The t-nuts I'm familiar with have spikes on one side to dig into wood.

    Bed rail question

Other than mounting a tonneau cover, what is the purpose of the tracks on either side of my 2017 Access Cab bed. I'm thinking of removing the tracks and installing a D-ring at each screw. Can I mount a shell without the tracks? Is there metal under them and on top of the bed sides?

    Locking gas cap

I have a AC Delco from Amazon but it causes check engine light to come on.
