    Entune messaging set up

I have since found that all is not working perfectly. Entune receives the messages and reads them out BUT there is no QUICK RESPONSE button as described online and in the manual.(?) The space where it should be is blank. Hmmmmm?

    Entune messaging set up

I found it. Go to: Settings - Bluetooth - then under MY DEVICES it should show your truck. Next to that it should say "Connected" with a small blue "i" in a circle. Click the circle and switch on "Show Notification" and "Sync Contacts". I found it on youtube and it worked first try. Good luck.

    Another new guy.........

The best thing I did was the sound deadening. It makes it an entirely different, and much quieter truck. I used duct work insulation (Lowe's/Home Depot). I did EVERYTHING inside the cab. I took out the seats, the headliner, the carpet, and all the door panels. The whole job took 6 rolls...

    Another new guy.........

I haul enough stuff to keep it level most of the time. LOL! Actually, I may install some helper springs to help level out the trailer I tow but it's not a 'gotta have' yet.

    Entune messaging set up

Hello again. I am trying to set up the 'messaging' on my '15 Tacoma. I press "Apps" - "Messages". The system asks me, "Do you want to set up messaging?" I click "Yes". Next, the screens reads something like "You may need to operate your device." I can only assume my device is my phone...

    Another new guy.........

So far the truck has: Pop 'n' Lok tailgate lock, ARE Camper Shell wired for lights/power, Tonneau Cover (I swap them as needed), Heated Seats, Sound deadening in the entire cab, extra 12V outlet in the right side storage pocket. I don't plan on doing any engine mods or lift kits.

Anyone used AEM Dryflow Air Filter?

If the aftermarket filter actually flows more air, then it is doing LESS filtering. Facts are facts. Nothing is free.

    Another new guy.........

Hello. My name is Joe and I joined the forum yesterday. I hope to learn and share some good info. I have a 2015 TRD Sport 4X4 Long Bed Dbl Cab. It's got about 9,000 miles on it now. I had a 1983 Toyota SR5 4X4 that I kept for 14 years. It was low on power buy long on durability. It was a...

Tacoma sound deadening done with duct work insulation

One of the things I like the most is the solid "THUNCK" when the doors shut. There's still a little bit of engine noise at speed but at idle it's almost silent. I highly recommend doing it.

Tacoma sound deadening done with duct work insulation

I wanted to share an inexpensive way to make your truck a lot quieter. I used duct work insulation (available at Lowe's/Home Depot) to insulate my entire cab; roof, 4 doors, floor, and rear panel. The before and after sound level is very noticeable. At 60 mph there is a 10 decibel difference...

Electric sliding rear window for Tacoma. Help with part numbers/building my own.

Hello! I am new to the site and I want to bring an old (hopefully not TOO worn out) subject: The electric sliding rear window the Tacoma. I see that BenWA is no longer selling the kit. I am trying to get the part numbers to build my own. Does someone else make a kit now? I have searched...
