1980 2wd 20r 5 spd.

Is the headerbolt pattern the same as a 22r ? They have headers at summit racing but don't know if they're same ? One was $136.00 not bad .I had bought the SS quiet cat back exhaust for my tundra from them it had 3 inch pipe stainless and it was 130 bucks it sounded louder than stock and quieter than the flow master .they have it for taco as too .but its 2.25 pipe. I wonder if I can make the 3 inch tundra exhaust work on a new Tacoma .the shape looks similar and it will bump to 3 inch cat back .hmmm?

They are a little different. I don’t think the 20r bolts and holes line up with the 22r header. Could probably modify it. I’ll try to find one that works. Thanks for the link above. Parts geek is great.

No head lights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, vent motor etc. There was no power to the fuse box. Figured out it was missing an entire piece and had to make a wire work around. I found this 1980 pickup SR5 south of here. Runs drives and everything works. Lots of oil leaks though. Looks like the valve cover has a good one on the rear cam plug, the front main seal and oil pump are leaking, possibly the rear main seal (pain in the ass to fix that one) and the rear diff is leaking pretty bad. I’ll be tackling those leaks first and see where it’s at. Do a tune up and adjust the valves while I’m in it. This is going to be the new pizza planet truck. The bed is in worse shape (more rust) than the other one so I’ll swap the beds. The interior is in better shape. And it’s a SR5. :)
A buddy is almost ready to build a huge paint booth in his shop. Probably be three weeks before I can get the paint started on it. Should give me time to get these leaks fixed and the bed swapped. 2B8340DE-4777-4A56-86D8-F3EE056F1D76.jpeg FAC7B2C9-5D38-4B45-B7ED-C6E0ACA25790.jpeg 38CDE13E-2FA9-439E-8266-1151EE24846E.jpeg ED0981E4-C272-4ED0-850D-AD555EF26AC2.jpeg

There is a prop builder from the mid west who has been contracted and paid to build the rocket for it. Hoping it will be done in the next 4-5 weeks. He emailed a few weeks ago and said he was contacted by Disney to building a rocket for them so he will get to mine when he’s done with theirs. Can’t hate on getting bumped by Disney ;)

Dude that's awesome even matched the cap .run some 20-50 Castrol in it .my wife had a '75 mustang v6 and it used to go through10 -40 on a bi weekly basis put the 20 -50 in it and it was a whole new ballgame .:)
