Idle, low speed, I don't care about how much load. The manufactures, not only toyota, know this is an issue. Oil companys are changeing their formulas trying to prevent this with different additives or the mixture of existing additives. It seems like high calcium and low moly are a contributing factor. I'm just saying if you have a noisy engine experiment some on youre own, don't just keep taking toyotas answer that thats normal or don't worry about it, if it blows warranty will cover it.By definition, LSPI is detonation at low speed. The OP has the noise at idle, with zero engine load.
