Cold air intake

I installed a cold air intake on my 2019 Tacoma and when I turn it off I here a air popping sound any suggestions on what it can be
 
Welcome to the forum! Could be the air intake is causing a change in the air/fuel mix causing it to 'pop'. Almost sounds like a backfire of sorts. Can you post a sound of it?
 
Yes that’s kind of what it sounds like I will see if I can get a video of the sound I’m just trying to find out if it can damage the truck
 
I wouldn't think it could damage the engine but can maybe wreak havoc on the sensors in the exhaust if its the fuel mixture.
