The only one I know off hand that makes a 75/85 synthetic gear lube is Lucas. I think most are using the more standard 75/90.

I wasn't going to recommend a brand, didn't want to sound biased, but I'm with ya +1 on Amsoil severe gear.

$20/quart??? Wow. If that's what you wanna run go for it! There's many brands.....just have to decide which one you want as far as brand and cost!

Yeah not cheap. I wanna go with the 75w-85 since it calls for it. This is the nicest truck I have ever had and worked hard for it so I am trying to take really good care of it.
When I detail the inside I go as far as pulling the seats out 3 or 4 times a year to clean. Gets washed and detailed every week. Lol. I know it sounds crazy but when you work hard for it. Gotta take care of it.

You can order that straight from redline for $17.49 a qt. I do a fair amount of shopping on Amazon but some stuff, especially stuff for my vehicles, I prefer to order straight from manufacturer if possible. A lot of amazon's stuff they rely on 3rd party vendors and some of them have been proven not to have high morals.

OP, something to keep in mind, the only reason they spec 75/85 is for gas mileage. Under normal day to day driving that will probably be just fine, HOWEVER, if you use youre truck for towing, hauling, or long trips you may want to step up to 75/90 or even 75/110. Not telling you that you're decision is wrong, just something to think about.
