ECT question for 2017 TACOMA

I am not sure if this has been asked before but can the ECT be used constantly without damage to the transmission. I like the transmission shifts so much better with it on. I have heard gas mileage will suffer but mine is not that great anyway! I have the 2017 V6 SR5 two wheel drive.
 
Yes there is actually a wiring kit that will leave it on. I can’t remember the wording kit name but someone I’m sure will post the link
