I have a 2002 prerunner that needs new front wheel bearings and I am trying to figure out if this is something I can do myself. I know that I will need to press in the bearing into the steering knuckle. Can this be done with one of those bearing press in tools that just has the adapters with a long bolt that pulls it in?

Also, will the hub just slide out of the bearing or will I need some kind of puller or press to seperate it from the bearing?

It’s not as complicated as a 4wd. I don’t think you’ll have a real hard time doing it. It should be take out and replace with new bearing and seal.

    Welcome to the forum.
Look around at YouTube and install manuals, make sure you have the right tools available, see if you’re comfortable and feel capable with the process. If so then go for it.
