Sorry guys I am just excited.
Its been an awesome weekend, and Tuesday I get my new puppy.

A great dane pup. I have had many danes, they are a perfect pet for me. I usually have two or three at once, it almost feels odd only having one. So Tuesday we drive to go get him.

Damn B.C., youre gonna need that crew cab long box to haul the family around. I've never seen a great Dane pup, how big are they when they're babies? Of course I realize they will always be youre babies.

He is 9 weeks, and was just weighed at 28 pounds.

He should be 100 pounds by 6 or 7 months. They are giants already by 6 months.
His mom is 145 and his dad 180, so he should be 170 to 190 when full grown. Males typically weigh 30 to 40 lbs more than females.
Rupert is 171, there is a reasonable chance the new pup will be a bit larger than he is.

That one is extra funny to me, because it is so true.
I've had many Danes, and they have to be taught not to steal food, because hiding it is pointless. They can open the fridge, reach almost anything, and are darn quick.

We had an Afghan hound he was huge about 95 lbs and would love to ride in my '65 stang he would put his butt on the seat And frontlegs to the floor and rest his head on the dash ! lol cool dogs .

That for sure would grab glances CT! What a great visual. I'm sure the '65 would immediately draw attention and then eyes would quockly shift to the pretty "blonde" at your side. Great story!
