Hard shift

2015 Tacoma 1100 miles. Truck sits over night, cold start in morning let it run for about 3 minutes and when I take from park to reverse it very hard shift. This only happens after truck sits for 8 hrs or so. Took to dealer today and they couldn't duplicate it so the dealer tells me it normal. Anybody else experiencing this?

Sometimes if I'm on an incline or decline. Wife's car does the same thing.

I do park on slight incline often. Last night I purposely parked on level ground and there is a difference still not the smoothest transition but not that BANG into reverse when on incline

I have a steep drive way I pull up hit ebrake then put in park. If I don't it will make the pop sound. Any vehicle does with just the trany holding
