I am looking to put a rough country 2" leveling kit in my 2017 tacoma. Do I need to run differential drop spacers with this kit? Rough country and the shop installing it say no but I am skeptical. I am just running the leveling kit to fit 265x70x16s instead of 245s. Is this going to wear my cv out without the spacers?

You can fit 265/75/16s without mods. You may have to trim some plastic depending on the tire.

If you do anything, save for at least 5100s. Spacers are crap. Also the diff spacer doesn't help.

Shouldn't need it for 3" lift or less. Geometry shouldn't change drastically enough to require it.

I put 2.5" level from SDT ON Amazon and the kit came with 1 spacer for the diff drop.
